RakeTek can develop and deploy Intranet web-sites and portals. The portals can be in any domain area. A portal is a web site that acts as a single source for all information on a specific vertical domain. Basically, in most of the cases, the ”vertical domain” aspect gives a web site the name of a “Portal”.
We will also design and conceptualize the portal (web site) its theme, format, presentation, content presentation, graphics, etc. Graphic designers will get involved during this stage.

Technology
The portal (web site) can be implemented in any of the current technologies. RakeTek can develop the portal (web site) either in the Linux, Java or Microsoft based technologies. Under Java based technologies, we could implement the solutions in the form of Enterprise Java Beans (EJBs), servlets, etc. Under the Microsoft based technologies, we can implement the solution in VB.NET, COM/DCOM, MTS, etc. In Linux the solution would consist of the application developed using PHP and MySQL. RakeTek also has very strong expertise developing portal using solutions such as Microsoft Sharepoint.
